Not Being Good Enough

No, this isn't some emotional rant (or at least I hope it doesn't become one), but I am so tired of people telling me I'm not good enough at [fill in the blank]. I'm sick of hearing people say that to each other, too. So, what standard are you holding "good enough" at? Your own? Highly unlikely, given that everyone I have ever heard utter that phrase was not the most successful, nor popular, nor...intelligent, so to say. What is deemed successful, anyway?
